On September 23, in Frankfurt, the East Asia and Pacific Regional Director of the German Bank for Reconstruction (KfW), Christine Heimburgerm and KfW senior officials received the Minister and the delegation.


At the meeting between the two sides, KfW informed the German Government ministers of priority to grant loans to Vietnam, including environment, sustainable development; energy and vocational education; KfW and the German Government attach great importance to vocational training investment, which is an important factor to help the German economy develop successfully today.


Expressing his pleasure to work with KfW - one of the 50 safest banks in the world in 2017 (according to Global Finance Magazine), Minister Dao Ngoc Dung thanked KfW for the cooperation and interest in Vietnam. Nam for 25 years in many fields, including vocational education.

The Minister suggested that KfW continue to pay attention to supporting Vietnam in promoting the development of vocational education through financing concessional ODA loan projects in close coordination with technical assistance projects using non-refundable ODA to develop high quality schools of the vocational education system.
"Vietnam is committed to the effective use of ODA by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the field of vocational education", Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized and cordially invited KFW representatives as both partners and investors. attend and speak at the National Forum on "Enhancing Vietnam's skills", which will be held in Hanoi in the near future.


At the meeting, the KfW representative announced that he would consider continuing to invest ODA in the field of vocational education in Vietnam and request the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to specifically propose the use of ODA at the Session. negotiation meeting between Vietnam and Germany on ODA funding in October 2019 in Hanoi. Expand cooperation with leading institutes and vocational schools in Germany


 

In an effort to expand cooperation with German vocational training institutes and schools, on September 23, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and members of the Delegation paid a working visit to the Hesse State Institute of Technology Training and Carl-Benz vocational school.


At the Hessen State Technology Training Institute - a public training facility belonging to the Hessen State Government, the Institute's leader introduced the Minister about the Institute's training situation, including domestic training and international training. It is known that in Germany, the Hesse State Institute of Technology Training is a large institution specializing in information technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, renewable energy, printing and communication technology, and education management. education and quality.


Currently, the Institute is maintaining cooperation with 9 other training institutions in the State of Hessen and a number of large enterprises such as Siemens, Microsoft, Festo, Lucas Nulle. Regarding international training, since 1968 the Institute has received and trained about 3,000 international students from 100 countries mainly attending training courses on technical and pedagogical training.


The Institute has also organized courses for teachers, faculty leaders, leaders of Vietnamese colleges under the Program sponsored by the International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) of Germany and the State of Hesse.


“Vietnamese students are evaluated very hard, and have good motivation to study. We look forward to continuing to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in the field of vocational education ... ”, said the leader of Hesse State Institute of Technology Training.
Thanks to the Institute's cooperation in training and retraining Vietnamese managers and vocational teachers, especially with the new technology fields that Vietnam is interested in promoting, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung suggested. The Institute continues to cooperate with Vietnam in training Vietnamese vocational teachers as a decisive force to improve the quality of vocational education in Vietnam.

It is known that the vocational training program of the school, mainly in mechanical engineering, automotive technology and mechatronics, meets the human resource needs of businesses in the context of industrial revolution 4.0 and digitization. Carl-Benz School has partnerships with many European countries and some Asian countries such as Singapore and China. Students studying at the school sent by the enterprise, enjoy a monthly salary from 800 EURO to 1,500 EURO / student. The total training time of students is 1/3 of the time at the school and 2/3 of the time at the enterprise, besides the academies have many opportunities to participate in creativity, technology innovation, product development
