This is the success of Vietnam’s Delegation in the 12th ASEAN’s Skills Competition because other ASEAN’s countries has increasingly invested in this competition for the several recently years. This year, the competition was held in IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi province, Thailand from August 26th, 2018 to September 5th, 2018. The Competition attracted the participation of 331 young talents from 10 ASEAN countries participating in the World Skills ASEAN Bangkok 2018 competed for medals in 26 skills, such as automotive technology, cooking, electrical installations, electronics, hairdressing, internet of things, mobile robotics, and restaurant service.
The event also encouraged young people, craftsmen, and the general public to emphasize skills development, which will help strengthen the country’s economy and society. Moreover, the event will also provide an opportunity for ASEAN members to share their views and experience in skills development and promote friendship and understanding.
Attending this competition, fifty-two Vietnamese competitors selected from a national skill contest showed their talents in all 26 skills. The Delegation will complete the Competition. Foreseen, they will come back Vietnam on September 5th, 2018.
