Referring to the report of the General Department of Education and Training, Mr. Le Anh Duc - Rector of Dong Nai High-tech College said that the connection between enterprises and vocational schools has been the main form of bringing students to the university so far. intership. There are many barriers, making enterprises not interested in training cooperation. According to Mr. Do Van Giang - Director of Training Department, General Department of Vocational Education, since the Law on Vocational Education came into effect, there have been changes in the operation of the whole system. The schools have been active in engaging with businesses in the process of organizing training. Basic content of Articles 51 and 52 of the Law on Vocational Education has affirmed the rights and responsibilities of enterprises in vocational education activities.

 

The situation of training associated with enterprises, Mr. Giang said, there are currently 483 vocational training institutions belonging to enterprises, including 46 colleges, 82 secondary schools, 355 vocational education centers and training centers. However, these institutions mainly train manpower for the enterprises themselves, such as: Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College, Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park; Dung Quat Technology and Technical College, Dung Quat Industrial Park; Chu Lai - Truong Hai Vocational College, Chu Lai automobile assembly and manufacturing complex.

 

The school is hard to find businesses and businesses hard to find the school, which is considered an inherent weakness in cooperation. There are businesses that do not need human resource training, they can be self-sufficient; The attachment is small and spontaneous, not sustainable. Although there have been many legal documents and guidelines on training links, however, some bottlenecks have not been overcome, making enterprises not eager to cooperate with vocational education.

 

From the aforementioned difficulties, Mr. Giang proposed a 3-party coordination mechanism including: State management agencies - Enterprises, Business Associations, VCCI - Vocational education institutions to link training with businesses, ordering training and participating in on-the-job education activities at the grassroots level. Thus, businesses and schools can better understand each other, towards sustainable cooperation, through which the participants, including workers, will benefit.
