On the morning of November 9 in Hanoi, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam - Mr. Hoang Quang Phong attended the launching ceremony of the project "Promoting the new labor relations framework to ensure respect Declaration of the International Labor Organization on basic principles and rights in labor ". The ceremony was organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO), Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in coordination with related organizations.

In the context of Vietnam's deepening integration into the regional and world economy, many multilateral, bilateral trade agreements have been signed and implemented. Most recently, it was the participation in the negotiation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as: Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTTP), EVFTA, Free trade agreement between Vietnam and Korea. This poses challenges for Vietnam to calls for legal reforms in all areas, in particular labor, to ensure respect for, and promotion of, the four groups of principles and fundamental labor rights referred to in the ILO Declaration. in 1988.
From that context and the current status of labor relations in Vietnam and approved by the Government, ILO cooperated with VCCI, MOLISA to hold the signing ceremony and launch the Project to Promote the New Labor Relations Framework to ensure respect for the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights in labor (NIRF project).

The VCCI, ILO, MOLISA project will contribute to the project in terms of The Labor Code and national legislation are compatible with the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights in Labor; The capacity of state management of labor relations has been strengthened; Employees and employers become effective and qualified labor relations actors in the implementation of project activities with improved labor relations contributing to the construction and maintain a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations within the enterprise.
